PROTOTYPE MILLING
In rapid prototyping, CNC milling is that which, thanks to the use of machining centers, is able to provide prototypes in the most suitable material for the use of the requested object quickly and with absolute precision.
The processing takes place “from solid”, gradually removing material from the original block until the designed part is created.
The competitive advantage offered by mechanical machining over other means of prototyping such as 3D printing is the optimal level of surface finishing, which also allows you to obtain parts in a wide variety of materials. The production processes of ITALMETAL Srl allow to obtain machined parts both from plastic materials (ABS / PVC / e ..) and from metals such as aluminum, zamak, brass, steel.
The applications are manifold: it ranges from technical prototypes to purely aesthetic ones. Production times are exclusively related to the complexity of the object and the chosen material.
